PUUR Arthro is a carefully formulated supplement for pets to support healthy joints and smooth movement. This formula contains a balanced combination of natural ingredients known for their positive influence on the musculoskeletal system. PUUR Arthro is suitable for dogs, cats, and horses and can be used long-term. 

If you notice that your aging dog is having more difficulty moving or getting up from its bed, PUUR Arthro can help. Cats will jump less and look for steps to get higher. Horses, like cats, find it difficult to show that moving is uncomfortable. But stiff movement, especially after rest or in cold weather, can be an indication that movement could use some support. 

The product contains, among other things, curcuma longa (turmeric), a plant traditionally used for its supportive effect on joints. It contributes to the maintenance of smooth movement and offers antioxidant properties. Goldenrod (solidago virgaurea) supports a healthy fluid balance, which contributes to the flexibility of the musculoskeletal system. Frankincense (boswelliaserrata) is known for its supportive influence on maintaining healthy joint function. 

The PUUR Arthro drops are alcohol-based. This is necessary to properly dissolve the applied herbs without losing their beneficial effect. Is your animal a poor eater and are you afraid to try it? You don't have to be. You can let the alcohol evaporate by dripping the drops onto a hot spoon. This will evaporate the alcohol and also the sharp taste. This makes acceptance much easier. The liquid form makes it easy to administer the correct dosage, tailored to your animal's weight. This product has been developed with an eye for quality and effectiveness, without unnecessary additives.  

A good addition to these drops can be a building block to maintain joint fluid levels. Such as a supplement with glucosamine. Together with PUUR Arthro, you have a winning combination. 

Dosage  

1 – 2 times daily (1 ml = 20 drops)
Horse  20 – 30 drops
Dog   10 – 15 drops
Cat       5 – 10 drops

If it is difficult in practice to administer this product multiple times a day, 1 time a day or 1 time every 2 days is sufficient. In that case, give the maximum daily dosage. Even then, PUUR Arthro can be used effectively, but the reaction may take a little longer.

Upon improvement, a maintenance dosage can be used. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, pay close attention to the animal's reaction. Initially, a higher dosage may be necessary; this product can be safely given in a double dosage. Gradually reduce the dosage upon improvement to the lowest possible dosage.

With some dilutions and extracts, a short-term exacerbation may occur at the start of treatment. This means that the animal is reacting to the product. In case of a severe increase, halve the dosage or temporarily stop and then gradually build it up again.

Administration 

Administer this product with a plastic syringe directly into the mouth or muzzle, possibly diluted with a little water. Preferably not at the same time as a meal because the product works better when absorbed by the clean oral mucous membrane.

If an animal does not like PUUR Arthro, the drops can be given on a small treat.

If the cat does not accept the drops, put the drops on a warm spoon and let the alcohol evaporate from the product. Then give it diluted with some water with a syringe directly into the mouth. The drops can also be applied to the top of the paw, check if the cat licks the drops off its paw.

For stiff movement, it is generally advisable to walk the animal frequently. Especially linear movements, walking and trotting are good for keeping the joints flexible, and swimming is also very good for the joints. Abrupt stops and quick turns, such as during play with other animals and throwing sticks and balls (for dogs), should be avoided. This places too much strain on the joints.

Duration of treatment

In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, continue administering this product for a few more days.

In case of long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. Upon improvement, a maintenance dosage can be used. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, pay close attention to the animal's reaction.

This product can be given continuously. It is advisable to include a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks. This way, the 'stimulus' can be offered again after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if there is a reason to do so.

Storage

Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20 C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiration date is stated on the label and the box.
