PUUR Tranquil is the ideal solution for tense or stressful times. It is suitable for animals that could benefit from long-term relaxation and calmness.

Your dog has just moved to the Netherlands from abroad and is having trouble settling down. He sleeps little, is irritable, and training is difficult as a result. Or: your cat is finding it very difficult that the family composition has changed and has, to everyone's frustration, started urinating in the house. And: during a stressful competition season, it is difficult for your horse to stay calm and focused. He is tense, which means you are always just short of the level you would like to be at.

The above examples are the moments when PUUR Tranquil can be used.

PUUR Tranquil helps animals that could benefit from long-term relaxation and calmness, helps with excessively restless behavior, works preventively in changing situations such as a move, and is a natural calming agent in the run-up to New Year's Eve when there is unrest due to fireworks. To help your animal through exciting, restless or changing situations, (behavioral) training is also important. With the addition of L-tryptophan, PUUR Tranquil contributes to focus and concentration, which makes training easier.

PUUR Tranquil is formulated with natural ingredients and, unlike some chemical agents, does not cause drowsiness or lethargy.

Tips for administration:

Build up the dosage of PUUR Tranquil gradually due to palatability. Our products do not contain fragrances or flavorings. On day 1, add a pinch to something NEW and very tasty. For dogs, a little cat food works wonders. For cats, you can use a liquid snack or the liquid from a can of tuna in water.

Dosage

1 – 2 times daily:

Horse 4 grams

Pony 3 grams

Dog > 25 kg 3 grams

Dog 10-25 kg 2 grams

Dog and cat < 10 kg 1 gram

Each animal reacts differently to the mentioned dosage. If sufficient results are not achieved, the dosage may be increased to a maximum of 3 times the indicated dosage. Afterwards, reduce the dosage back to the normal daily dose when the situation is stable. Upon improvement, a maintenance dosage can be started. This is usually half of the indicated dosage on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction.

Teaspoon versus measuring spoon
1 teaspoon of 3 ml contains approximately 3 grams. This product does not include a measuring spoon. The dosage has been converted from ml to grams and can be given with a teaspoon. Everyone has a teaspoon at home. You can of course also recycle the previous measuring spoon.

If it is difficult in practice to administer this product multiple times a day, 1 time a day or 1 time every 2 days will suffice. In that case, give the maximum dosage for one day. Even then, PUUR Tranquil can be used effectively, but the reaction may take a little longer.

Upon improvement, a maintenance dosage can be started. This is usually half of the indicated dosage on the packaging. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary initially; this product can be safely given in a double dosage. Gradually reduce the dosage upon improvement to the lowest possible dosage.

Administration

PUUR Tranquil can be given with food. Because this powder contains herbs, it is recommended to start with a small amount to allow the animal to get used to the taste. Moisten the powder so that it is not blown out of the feeding bowl.

Duration of treatment

Always ensure good quality food and adapt the circumstances to your animal's needs.

In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, continue administering this product for a few more days. For long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks.

This product can be given continuously. It is advisable to have a break week after every 6 to 8 weeks. This way, the 'stimulus' can be offered again after the break week. Resume treatment immediately if there is a reason to do so.

Each animal reacts differently to the stated dosage. The dosage is quite precise; observe the animal's behavior carefully. If the results are insufficient, gradually increase the dosage. When the desired behavior is achieved, a maintenance dosage can be sought, gradually reducing to approximately half of the stated daily dosage.

Interaction and contraindication

Always use during pregnancy and lactation in consultation with the treating veterinarian.

To date, side effects of this product are not known or reported.

Storage

Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry and at a temperature between 5-20 °C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiry date is stated on the label.
