PURE Cranberry
For a healthy bladder and urinary tract. PUUR Cranberry prevents bacteria from attaching to the bladder wall.
Dosage
Once daily
Dog 1 – 3 capsules
Cat 1 capsule
Contains per capsule: 275 mg Cranberry extract 25:1 and 27.5 mg Vitamin C (as ascorbic acid).
Administration
DOG:
Can be given with food. The capsules can be opened and thoroughly mixed with the food. The capsules can also be given whole with a treat, such as cheese or sausage. Another option is to open the capsules, mix the powder with water, and then administer the mixture directly into the dog's mouth using a dosing syringe.
CAT:
Gradually increase the dosage of PUUR Cranberry due to palatability. Our products do not contain fragrances or flavourings. On day 1, add a pinch to something NEW and very tasty. For cats, you can use a liquid snack or the liquid from a can of tuna in water.
If you want to reach the full dose on day 1, you will need to add a pinch of Cranberry to the NEW treat multiple times so that the animal receives the full daily dose spread throughout the day. On day 2, add 2 pinches and continue to increase until the desired dosage, once or twice a day.
Do not mix PUUR Cranberry with their regular food. This prevents your cat from becoming suspicious of their own food and refusing to eat. Use the new treat only for administering the Cranberry.
Duration of treatment
In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can range from a few days to 3 weeks. If improvement is observed, continue administration of this product for a few more days.
In cases of chronic discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. Once improvement is noted, a maintenance dose can be used. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, observe the animal's reaction carefully. Initially, a higher dose may be necessary, and this product can be safely given in a double dose. Gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible effective dose.
This product can be given continuously at a maintenance dose. Resume treatment immediately if there is a reason to do so.
Interaction and contraindication
Always consult with your veterinarian before use during pregnancy and lactation. To date, no side effects of this product are known or have been reported.
Storage
Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry at a temperature between 5-20 °C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiry date is stated bottom left on the label or under the jar.
