PURE Derma 50ml

PUUR Derma is a phytotherapeutic drop based on buckwheat, goldenrod, burdock, and nettle. It supports the cleansing action of the liver, helps reduce itching, and is soothing and cooling.

To be used for skin imbalances such as hot spots, scabbing, itching on various body parts, particularly hairless areas such as feet, external ear canal, genital opening, anus, mouth, and eyelids. It is frequently used for itching that worsens with heat and scratching (or even just touching), while the symptoms lessen with cold or products that provide local cooling.

Dosage

1 – 4 times daily (1 ml = 20 drops)

• Dog 10 – 15 drops
• Cat 5 – 10 drops
• Horse 20 – 30 drops

Shake well before use

If it is difficult to administer this product multiple times a day in practice, once a day or once every two days is sufficient. In that case, give the maximum daily dosage. Even then, PUUR Derma can be used effectively, but the reaction may take a little longer to appear.

Upon improvement, a maintenance dosage can be started. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the package. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary initially; this product can be safely given in a double dose. Gradually reduce the dosage upon improvement to the lowest possible dosage.

With some dilutions and extracts, a temporary worsening may occur at the start of the treatment. This means that the animal is responding to the product. In case of a severe increase, halve the dosage or temporarily stop and then gradually build up again.

Administration

Administer PUUR Derma directly into the mouth or muzzle with a plastic syringe, possibly diluted with a little water. Preferably not at the same time as a meal, as the product works better when absorbed by the clean oral mucous membrane. If an animal does not like the product, the drops can be given on a small treat.

For cats, we recommend putting the drops on a heated spoon so that the alcohol in the product can evaporate. Then give it to the cat with a small treat. The drops can also be applied to the top of the paw, but make sure the cat licks the drops off its paw.

Duration of treatment

Provide good quality food. For itching caused by parasites, adequate flea control should be ensured. This can be done naturally with STOP! Most forms of skin itching in dogs and cats are caused by a combination of circumstances: an abnormal coat shedding process, fleas, unsuitable climate (e.g., a too warm or too dry living environment), insufficient distraction and exercise (stress), insufficient regularity or wrong nutrition. To support the treatment: ensure good coat care and be alert for parasites such as fleas and worms.

In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. Continue administering this product for a few days after improvement.

For chronic discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. Upon improvement, a maintenance dosage can be started. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the package. When dosing this product, carefully observe the animal's reaction. A higher dosage may be necessary initially; this product can be safely given in a double dose. Gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dosage.

This product can be given continuously. It is advisable to include a stop week every 6 to 8 weeks. This allows the 'stimulus' to be offered again after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if there is a reason to do so.

Interaction and contraindication

Always consult with the treating veterinarian during pregnancy and lactation. To date, no side effects of this product are known or have been reported.

STORAGE

Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry at a temperature between 5-20 °C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiration date is stated on the label and the box.
