PUUR Herny is a natural supplement specifically developed to support a healthy back and spine in animals. PUUR Herny is beneficial for the nervous system and the neck and lumbar region, particularly for the intervertebral discs. The product contains carefully selected ingredients that contribute to maintaining flexible muscles, a relaxed nervous system, and an overall sense of well-being.

Ingredients

Magnesium is an essential mineral that helps support muscle function. It contributes to smooth movement and can help reduce muscle tension. Magnesium citrate is a highly absorbable form of magnesium. Lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) is known for its calming properties. It helps promote relaxation and supports a balanced nervous system, which is important for recovery and relaxation. Valerian (Valerianus officinale) has been used for centuries for its calming effect. It can contribute to a relaxed feeling and helps reduce tension in both body and mind. St. John's Wort (Hypericum perforatum) supports the nervous system and helps restore balance in stressful situations. In addition, it has a nurturing effect on the nerves.

PUUR Herny is used in animals that need support for their back, for example, in animals with stiffness and sensitivity in the back. You may notice this, for example, when they avoid touch or when walking and moving cause discomfort. Sometimes you may also see that the hindquarters are somewhat weaker, and loss of bladder control can also be an indication of discomfort with the intervertebral discs.

PUUR Herny can be very well combined with PUUR Glucosamine extra. This product provides the right building blocks for smooth movement and has added herbs that have an optimal effect on movement. In addition, a good omega-3 oil is recommended for smooth movement.

Dosage

2 – 3 times a day (1 ml = 20 drops)
Dog 10 – 15 drops
Cat 5 – 10 drops

If it is difficult to administer this product multiple times a day in practice, once a day or once every 2 days is sufficient. In that case, give the maximum daily dosage. Even then, this product can be used effectively, but the reaction may take a little longer.

With improvement, a maintenance dosage can be started. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing PUUR Herny, pay close attention to the animal's reaction. Initially, a higher dosage may be necessary; this product can be safely given in a double dosage. Gradually reduce the dosage with improvement to the lowest possible dosage.

With some dilutions and extracts, a short-term worsening may occur at the start of treatment. This means that the animal is reacting to the product. If there is a severe increase, halve the dosage or temporarily stop and then gradually build it up again.

Administration

Ensure calm, even movement, avoid sudden stops such as during play. The use of a collar should also be avoided. In an acute situation, the duration of treatment is relatively short. This can vary from a few days to 3 weeks. If there is improvement, continue administering this product for a few more days. For long-term discomfort, the effect is usually visible after 1 to 3 weeks. With improvement, a maintenance dosage can be started. This is usually half of the dosage indicated on the packaging. When dosing this product, pay close attention to the animal's reaction. Initially, a higher dosage may be necessary; PUUR Herny can be safely given in a double dosage. Gradually reduce the dosage to the lowest possible dosage. This product can be given continuously. It is advisable to include a stop week after every 6 to 8 weeks. This allows the 'stimulus' to be reintroduced after the stop week. Resume treatment immediately if there is a reason to do so.

Interaction and contraindication

Always use during pregnancy and lactation in consultation with the treating veterinarian. To date, no side effects of this product are known or have been reported.

Storage

Avoid direct sunlight and store this product dry at a temperature between 5-20 °C. Keep out of reach of children. The expiration date is stated on the label and the box.
